Starting out in a career of motorcycle drag racing I relocated to Atlanta, GA from California. While attending the International School of Skin & Nails I realized there was a big market for people who had certain foot conditions that wanted them fixed immediately. For the past 6 years I have been working hard to not just change people's lives with pedicures, but to build a long lasting relationship with a Podiatrist. I was the first to offer Customized Waterless Pedicures and to take the first leap into an actual partnership with a Podiatrist.

Being laid off after 10 years, allowed me time to decide if I wanted another job that would restrict motherhood time, or a career. I enrolled in Cosmetology school to become a manicurist, in love with being expressive, or just having nail neat glamour to accessorize any wardrobe I figured it would be the perfect fit. I was often told I would not get far in the industry if my focal point wasn’t acrylic keeping up with the fast fading trends. Against all odds, and a few knots from headbutting the ceiling, being a Medical Nail Technician has boarded intricacies of barriers in the cosmetic world. This rewarding accomplishment has allowed me to partner with podiatrist and delight heartbeats with medical specialties to be just as manicured as the frequent salon goers. This field is gently rewarding, knowing that you’re winning a battle with nail fungus that the client thought had de”feet”ed them. Outside the manicure world, furniture restoration peaks my interest. The joy of looking at something that I have restored is simply amazing, just like looking at a clients’ smile, when they see their before and after progression pictures! I guess you could say I LOVE what I do!
